ABOUT THE BUSINESS ANGEL SCHOOL

This Fall we are launching our 5th Business Angel School program. This program is very special to us – it’s dedicated to Women In Tech who are willing to take the lead & invest in startups.

With this program we would like to address the diversity issue on the CEE investment market and to build a community of the brilliant leading angels across several countries.

The 5-week program features an advanced view into all the key topics: how to evaluate a startup, what are the key metrics, how to organize syndicated deals, investor-startup relations, personal portfolio management and many more.

All the frameworks will be tested with live pitching startups.

The speakers of the program are European industry leaders: from superangels and syndicate leaders to VCs’ representatives

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE PROGRAM?

NOVEMBER 10 - DECEMBER 10

In collaboration with more than 20 professionals, investors, we designed the Business Angel Leaders program that is fully online, and also convertible into the hybrid model.

By combining workshops, fireside chats with industry leaders, we ensure a real experience to be put on the table.

With roundtables & pitch events, we create a unique, practice-based program where frameworks can be tested on an instant basis.

Moreover, the program offers a chance to grow your networks with Superangels, professional VC's, and other essential ecosystem players throughout Europe.

              Testimonials

              Martynas Kandzeras, Board Member, LitBAN:

This Business Angel school features all the key topics that are essential for the business angel to successfully operate. I found it valuable since all the workshops are based on practical cases. Moreover, fireside chats with various professional business angels and other ecosystem members help to have a wider understanding of the startup and investment world. Best part? You get to test all the frameworks and new knowledge during the live startup pitching events. I do recommend this program to the newcomers, and to professional guys who want to renew their knowledge.

              Arvydas Strumskis, Board Member, LitBAN:

With the continuous growth of Lithuania venture investments, we are pretty sure we have to invest more into the key element of any startup's life – Angel investments. With this goal we are really happy to present you with a renewed program that was designed to not only broaden the competence of angel investors, but also to strengthen the topics that maybe were missed out.

              Organizers & Partners

Baltic Sandbox is a sustainable value acceleration partner for the Eastern European startups seeking the transition to the Western European markets. We are primarily working with startups from various industries addressing responsible consumption societal problems, UN sustainability goals, and the digital economy.

Lithuanian Business Angel Network (LitBAN) actively works to increase the number of angel investors investing in early stage companies. We foster business angel activity through communication, events, networking, syndication of deals both locally and across Nordics by uniting wealthy individuals, successful entrepreneurs, and executives that are curious about angel investing activity.

Only a fraction of the available cash worldwide is invested in early stage startups. Startups drive innovation and impact employment tremendously. However early-stage investing is often very time-consuming for both startups and investors.  Pitchdrive is redefining the way early-stage businesses take off by advancing the process of data-driven analysis of early stage startups. With our expertise in entrepreneurship, we provide a unique and scalable service for both founders and investors.

Latvian Business Angel Network was founded on 29 April 2014. The goal of the association is to extend and develop the network of investors in Latvia and support new and perspective projects. This is why we organise Investment Sessions, during which investors and new entrepreneurs meet with each other.
