ABOUT THE BUSINESS ANGEL SCHOOL

This Fall, LitBAN teams up with Baltic Sandbox and Koinvestment fund to bring to the Lithuanian ecosystem a brand new educational program designed specifically for active and new business angels.

The industry leaders from all across the CEE markets, ranging from VC’s to successful super angels are joining the program as guest speakers.

The 4-week program features an advanced view into all the key topics: how to evaluate a startup, what are the key metrics, how to organize syndicated deals, investor-startup relations, personal portfolio management and many more.

All the frameworks will be tested with live pitching startups.

The program will finish with an official networking event, where we will invite all the participants of all Business Angels Schools to network and grow opportunities for pan-Baltic syndicated deals.

Testimonials

Martynas Kandzeras, Board Member, LitBAN:

This Business Angel school features all the key topics that are essential for the business angel to successfully operate. I found it valuable since all the workshops are based on practical cases. Moreover, fireside chats with various professional business angels and other ecosystem members help to have a wider understanding of the startup and investment world. Best part? You get to test all the frameworks and new knowledge during the live startup pitching events. I do recommend this program to the newcomers, and to professional guys who want to renew their knowledge.

Arvydas Strumskis, Board Member, LitBAN:

With the continuous growth of Lithuania venture investments, we are pretty sure we have to invest more into the key element of any startup's life – Angel investments. With this goal we are really happy to present you with a renewed program that was designed to not only broaden the competence of angel investors, but also to strengthen the topics that maybe were missed out.

We are primarily working with startups from various industries addressing responsible consumption societal problems, UN sustainability goals, and the digital economy.

In cooperation with private investors, Koinvesticinis Fondas – venture capital funds and groups of business angels – invests in startups and companies undergoing business development and growth. Koinvesticinis fondas main goal is to develop Lithuania’s venture capital market, develop and expand the community of private investors (business angels), this way providing wider access to financing to new and viable companies with limited potential for conventional business funding.
