According to Ageing Europe, the population of older people (defined here as those aged 65 years or more) in the EU-27 will increase significantly, rising from 90.5 million at the start of 2019 to reach 129.8 million by 2050. The World Health Organization reports, that by 2030, 1 in 6 people in the world will be aged 60 years or over. At this time the share of the population aged 60 years and over will increase from 1 billion in 2020 to 1.4 billion. By 2050, the world’s population of people aged 60 years and older will double (2.1 billion). As much as anyone else, they desire a healthier, happier, more meaningful, more connected life and to remain, for as long as possible, in the labour force.

• We expect to take up to 5 teams
• 8-week intensive online program with 14 months post-program support   
• Initial investments: €20.000 initial investment per startup accepted to the program
• Up to €200.000 follow-up investments from partners for most promising startups at the end of the program
