Diversity doesn't just matter. It also pays off in higher returns. According to PwC and BCG's latest studies, startups led by female founders or co-founders perform 10% – 35% better over time and more likely to have IPOs and profitable acquisitions, despite being comparatively underfunded.
During the Fall'19, we launched our Women in Tech Batch to close the gap between female lead startups and venture capital, which will increase sustainability and profits in the global tech ecosystem.
It was a fantastic experience. 7 talented teams graduated from the Batch and continued their journey with us.
From what we noticed, female founders care more about the impact and sustainability of their products. That's why one of our Portfolio 2020 goals is to onboard at least 50% of female-founded startups. We see it as an opportunity to empower exceptional teams worldwide, boost their expertise, expand their network, and offer them funding opportunities from the most credible EU/USA VCs, angels, and institutional investors.
The #womenintech Podcast is hosted by WeAreLATech's Espree Devora and features inspiring Women in Tech from Engineers, Female Founders, Investors, UX and UI Designers, Journalists all sharing their story how they got to where they are today.
